(Concepts included) I’m torn between my favorite Pontiac ever made The Can Am. I believe it’s a 77.
Those wheels!
And the Saab Aero X concept
That’s gotta be an expensive windshield
A next gen Can Am would probably be ugly as crap. I’m glad the present can’t ruin the past. Sometimes a brand dying keeps our fond memories from being polluted by modern safety standards.
What’s your favorite car from a dead brand?

Mitsubishi Evo. Mitsubishi may as well be dead in the US.

Toyota made so many great cars before they died, but the MK2 Celica Supra’s still my favorite.

I’d have a hard time choosing an Olds that isn’t an Aerotech

Eagle Talon, even though it’s a rebadge, I think it looks way better than an Eclipse.
Saturn Vue Redline, how do you make a GM better? Put a Honda engine in it.
1953 Studebaker
I can not figure out Studebakers nomenclature.

My engineer neighbor who once had a viggen daily driver, a viggen track rat and towed the the track car with a 97x now has an F250 tow vehicle, a Lotus Exige track car and daily drives an Elise.
I’m not sure if I should be sad or impressed.

Don’t laugh at Lucy, she’s self conscious. She may be 100lb heavier and a lot boxier than a DSM, but she can still hustle.

Thanks. I have a thing for old luxury cars. There was a certain level of elegance and craftsmanship that simply isn’t found in today’s world.

I could think of a hundred. That Can Am is on the list for sure. Pontiac (in old GM style) hated that it was popular.
One I’ve been wishing for lately is an Oldsmobile Calais Quad 442. 180hp and a snickety snick Getrag 5 speed in a great little package.
I’d also love a nice 83-84 Hurdt/Olds, 85-87 442, 81-87 Grand Prix, 83-85 Mercury Lynx RS, 83-84 Mercury Capri RS Turbo... So many fantastic crap cans so little time!

Honestly, I’d take any Fox Capri (or Mexico Mustang) as long as it had the Bubble hatch. I have a bit of a factory flared fender fetish..

Mid 80's Olds Cutlass 442. And you have to have the T Tops (even though they leak)
